This week's entry at I Heart Faces is "Whimsical" I am entering a photo of my little Whimsical Fairy. She loves to smell flowers and 8 months ago she loved to tear them apart, now she knows to only smell them.

Motherhood-I Heart Faces

This weeks theme at I Heart Faces is Motherhood. After almost 20 years of marriage I finally became a mother. It is the job that I hold dearest. We got our daughter at 7 months old and became her legal parents this past November just before she turned 2. I did not have any photos of other mothers and their babies or even one of myself so I used a photo of my daughter being "Mommy" to her baby. My daughter is a super picky eater and we praise her when she tries something new. In this photo she is feeding her baby and telling her "good job eating, baby" When I watch my daughter play I see in her roll play where I have done a good job mothering or I see an area that needs improvement. I Heart Faces- Soft and Sweet

I absolutely love this photo. When we first adopted Katie our cat Miah wanted nothing to do with her. Slowly as the months past I guess she began to realize that Katie was a part of the family and she might as well get use to it. Not only did she get use to it she now loves Katie and will snuggle with her. This is one of a series that I snapped that night starting with Katie sharing her "dinky dink'(small blanket) with Miah to Katie taking her hat off and finally Katie sharing her hat with the cat. A Slice of Life-I Heart Faces!

This weeks entry over at I Heart Faces is "A Slice of Life" something that captures a slice of life. This is my daughter and she is my life. As anyone who has a 2 year knows that everyday things such as painting is bound to have some adventure such as when my daughter decided to use her face as the canvas.

Sun Flare: I Heart Faces

This weeks challenge is "Sun Flare". This was one of those days that I wished I had my nice camera but I didn't so I used my cell phone to capture this shot. As much as I would love to recapture this moment with a nice camera it will not happen, I might can get something close but not this exact moment. She was having the time of her life. Of the photos I took this is not my favorite but it is the one that has her face showing or at least a part of her face. The others are of her walking up the hill to pick my flowers. I Heart Faces-Anything But Faces

This weeks challenge is Anything but faces. I really like this idea because it is what I did when we first got out daughter but wasn't allowed to post photos of her yet. So I posted photos of body parts: hand, curl, foot, etc. The photo I chose is not from those but one of her now a year and a half later doing one of her favorite things, reading.
